Take Yourself Further with CoolSculpting®

Exercise can be helpful in achieving your ideal appearance, but some areas of the body may be resistant to your efforts. That’s where CoolSculpting comes in. This procedure helps patients eliminate stubborn fat without surgery. It’s FDA-approved to remove fat from nine different areas of the body.

Potential treatment areas include:

· Back
· Bra area
· Flank area
· Abdomen

Who Should Consider CoolSculpting?

If you’re active and healthy but still want to eliminate fat, you may want to consider CoolSculpting. To qualify, you must be 18 or older. It’s not intended as a weight loss tool and works in partnership with your usual diet and exercise routine.

Our specialists at The ENT Center of New Braunfels will help you determine if CoolSculpting will work for you. Together, you’ll create a personalized plan to target your desired areas.

How Does CoolSculpting Work?

CoolSculpting uses cryolipolysis, or fat freezing, to freeze the fat cells in the treatment area. Your body will then naturally eliminate the dead fat cells. The treatment can reduce up to 20%–25% of stubborn fat in the treated area.

A CoolSculpting treatment can take as little as 35 minutes and up to three hours, depending on the area of the body you’re treating. You may return for additional treatments in six to eight weeks and see results in one to three months. Two or more treatment sessions are recommended to achieve desired body contouring results.

What To Expect During The Procedure

You’ll start with a consultation with your provider to discuss your CoolSculpting goals. The provider will answer any questions you may have and develop a personalized treatment plan.

During the treatment, the provider will apply an applicator to the area with a gel barrier to protect your skin. Once the treatment begins, you’ll feel pressure and intense cold, and the provider will massage the area afterward to break up fat cells.

Most people feel little pain during the procedure and can return to their regular daily activities following CoolSculpting. Some may experience side effects ranging from temporary redness and swelling to tenderness and sensitivity.

If there are areas of your body that you’d like to see changes to, CoolSculpting may be able to help. Our providers at The ENT Center of New Braunfels will work with you to determine if this procedure is a good fit for your needs.
